Velvet Auto Care – Terms & Conditions
At Velvet Auto Care, we pride ourselves on providing premium detailing services with professionalism and consistency. To ensure mutual understanding and protection for both parties, please review the following terms, which apply to all services and maintenance plans.
1. Enrollment & Billing
- All maintenance plans require active monthly auto-pay enrollment.
- While there are no long-term contracts, a minimum 3-month commitment is strongly recommended for optimal vehicle care and plan effectiveness.
- Missed or failed payments may result in automatic suspension of services.
2. Scheduling & Missed Visits
- Maintenance appointments are scheduled monthly or bi-weekly, depending on your selected plan.
- Missed or unused visits do not carry over to the next month.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is available and accessible at the scheduled time. If we are unable to perform the service due to no access, the visit may be forfeited.
3. Pausing or Canceling a Plan
- Plans can be paused or canceled at any time with at least 7 days' written notice before your next billing cycle.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of billing will apply to the following month.
- No refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing cycle.
4. Plan Eligibility Requirement
- A one-time Velvet Luxe Treatment is required before enrolling in any maintenance plan.
- This ensures all vehicles meet a standard baseline for cleanliness and allows us to maintain high-quality results going forward.
5. Payments & Deposits
- Full payment is due immediately upon service completion.
- For one-time or custom detailing services, a 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance is due upon completion.
- Maintenance plans are billed monthly via autopay in full.
- Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Zelle, and other mobile options.
- Credit Card Transaction Fee Policy
A 3% transaction fee will be applied to all payments made by credit card. This fee helps cover the processing costs charged by the credit card provider. Customers may avoid this fee by choosing an alternative payment method such as cash, debit card, Zelle, or ACH transfer
6. Service Guarantee & Limitations
- We strive for excellence, but we do not guarantee 100% stain or odor removal due to the nature of certain materials, stains, and odor sources.
- Odor and stain treatments will be performed using professional products and best practices, but results may vary based on severity, age, and fabric type.
7. Liability Disclaimer
- Velvet Auto Care is not liable for any pre-existing damage to your vehicle, including but not limited to:
- Paint defects, rock chips, or oxidation
- Upholstery wear, rips, or fraying
- Loose trims, emblems, electronics, or aftermarket parts
- Customers are responsible for disclosing any sensitive areas or known issues before service begins.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by the condition of the vehicle itself, including weak or damaged surfaces, worn-out materials, or non-factory-installed parts.
8. Weather & Safety
- In cases of inclement weather or unsafe working conditions, appointments may be rescheduled at Velvet Auto Care’s discretion to protect both the vehicle and our staff.
By booking any service with Velvet Auto Care, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined above.
